Over the years I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Marc Sinoway on many projects. As an actor he uses his skills and talents generously and fearlessly. Having Marc in the room, means having an exceptional collaborator on your team. He is supportive of his fellow artists and brings his best self in every day. Professional, personable, and prepared, Marc is always ready to experiment and try the next thing. As a producer, Marc is inventive, positive, and persistent. He has considerable skills and experience in multiple areas outside the theatre which prove very useful. Beyond that, Marc is a gifted communicator and listener. His enthusiasm for any project he commits to and to life in general is infectious and irresistible.

Marc Sinoway is a playwright’s dream. I first met Marc socially and found him charming, smart, and driven. He then participated in a reading in a play of mine, The Waiting Game. Marc works hard to prepare for roles in plays. He cares very much about the success of his projects and often becomes a co-creator: he helps make plays better if the writer will listen to him. Marc co-developed The Waiting Game as the lead actor in a demanding role. He traveled to Scotland to perform in its world premiere in the Edinburgh Fringe. Because of Marc’s devotion, he not only ensured that our Off-Broadway New York previews sold out each night, he did the same in Edinburgh for more than twenty performances. Largely due to Marc’s work improving and promoting our show, respected U.K. critics gave it multiple five-star reviews and my first-ever playwriting award.
